The Team: The Middle Office group specializes in managing unique client requirements and projects that extend beyond the core business offerings of WSO Services. This dynamic team is directly responsible for loan trade settlement, ensuring seamless operations for a diverse client base. Team members thrive on delivering excellent customer service and precise loan settlement services within strict deadlines, gaining invaluable exposure to external industry entities such as portfolio managers, custodians, and agent banks.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Manage client portfolios and agency trades within our loan Trade Settlement outsourcing services, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

• Coordinate complex trade closings among clients, counterparties, and agents, including engagement with legal counsel for distressed trades and participations.

• Proactively communicate with clients and external stakeholders, providing expert guidance and ensuring alignment on business priorities.

• Conduct thorough review of trade documentation, including confirms, assignment agreements, and funding memos, to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy prior to settlement.

• Actively follow up on outstanding trades, maintaining current statuses and delivering comprehensive closing packets to custodians and clients within stipulated deadlines.

Provide strategic insights through monthly client metrics and trend reports, contributing to continuous process improvement and organizational excellence.

• All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.

Compensation/Benefits Information: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $A to $Z. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.

This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• BA or BS degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Comprehensive knowledge of par and distressed loans, including their associated documentation and trade fee calculations.

• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex credit agreements and experience with daily loan transactions.

An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 2+ years of experience in loan operations or middle office functions, with exposure to systems like ClearPar/TSI/Markit WSO being a plus.

• We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.

Resourceful and solution-oriented, with a keen eye for detail to identify potential issues and generate new ideas to improve quality and efficiency.

Possesses strong interpersonal communication skills, actively participating in collaborative efforts and team discussions to articulate ideas clearly.

Demonstrates effective time management by assessing urgency, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work, while proactively taking ownership of responsibilities.
