Job Description
The Officer will support day-to-day operational activities for the high touch client account, with a primary focus on SSI management, static data setup, and operational readiness across asset servicing workflows. The role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to controls, and effective coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and manage Standard Settlement Instructions (SSIs) across markets, products, and custodians in line with client and regulatory requirements
Perform static data setup and maintenance (accounts, counterparties, settlement parameters, safekeeping attributes, cash instructions, etc.)
Ensure timely and accurate processing of setup requests with proper validation, approvals, and audit trails
Conduct daily controls and reconciliations to ensure SSI and static data accuracy
Investigate and resolve setup-related exceptions, failures, and client queries in a timely manner
Liaise with clients, custodians, brokers, and internal teams (Middle Office, Data, Technology, Risk) to resolve operational issues
Adherent to SOPs, risk controls, and compliance standards, including documentation and signoffs
Support UAT, system enhancements, and process improvements related to static data and SSIs
Qualifications & Skills
10+ years of experience in Investment Operations / Asset Servicing / Static Data / Settlements
Strong understanding of SSIs, account setup, cash and securities settlement flows
High attention to detail and risk awareness
Ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive client environment
Strong communication skills and stakeholder coordination
Experience supporting large asset managers is preferred
