Middle Manual QA engineer (Mobile Testing)

Our client is the world’s biggest watchmaking conglomerate. The client makes movements, both quartz and mechanical, fully assembled or in kit form, for brands in its own group and for external clients. It’s a powerful, largely independent, multifaceted company.

Our client designs and manufactures mechanical and automatic watches, watch movements and watch prototypes. Although the company produces finished watches and movements, the client specializes in the production of prototype movements used in both the watches of sister subsidiary brands and those of competitors.

You will be working with one of our clients’ watch brands, and testing watch prototypes and the mobile application(Android & iOS)

Requirements: 

• At least 2 years of proven experience in test execution
• Proven Experience in the analysis and understanding of software specifications
• Experience in Mobile testing - iOS, Android
• Proven Experience with test scenario creation
• Experience in the usage of a test activities-related tool such as Jira X-ray or other
• Good communication skills and a team player mindset
• English level - upper-intermediate, Ukrainian - Advanced or higher
• Location - Lviv 
• Possibility to visit one of our Lviv offices from time to time
• Knowledge of agile software development methodology will be a plus

 

Main tasks:

• Read and understand the requirements as well as the existing test scenarios defined for the Device Under Test’s (DUT)
• Plan the process of testing
• Mobile testing (iOS and Android )
• Write and execute test cases
• Conduct different types of testing
• Identify problem areas, and add them to a tracking system
• Analysis and reporting of the test status
• Troubleshooting and creation of bug tickets with a full description
• Collaborate with other QAs and/or developers regarding the behaviour of the DUT
• Support test engineering activities whenever it’s possible
• Be a proactive team member and a good team player
