We seek the services of a skilled Node.js Developer with at least 5 years of experience to work on-site at the client's office in Waterfall, Johannesburg.
The Developer should be proficient in JavaScript. Experience in Python and C++ are advantageous. Training and certification in our Content Management System (CMS) will be provided.
Job Description:
Key responsibilities:
- Manage group websites efficiently through Husky, our CMS platform.
- Create and optimize campaign pages to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
- Participate in localization projects to adapt digital content for different markets.
- Implement tagging solutions to track and analyze website performance.
- Identify and resolve bugs and technical issues promptly.
- Develop new websites and features using our CMS, adhering to Reckitt BIC (Best in Class) practices.
- Monthly reporting and weekly updates on key project

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Preferred candidates must meet the below criteria:
- Mid-senior level Node.js Developer with 5+ years of practical experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript; familiarity with Python and C++ is advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years tertiary qualification in development and coding.
- Solid understanding of web development technologies and methodologies.
- Fundamental grasp of SEO and impact of website health on PPC. Understanding of internal and external link building strategies advantageous.
- Proven experience working with CMS platforms.
- Proven experience with website analysis tools such as GA4, Search Console or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment across various markets.
- Proactive and quick to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.
- Must have a strong business or entrepreneurial acumen and be comfortable interacting with and presenting at an executive level.
