Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Integrated Planning & Scheduling (IP&S) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level or Senior Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to support the BDS Home Office Master Production Scheduling (MPS), team in developing and documenting process and system improvements for current and future architectures. The position reports to the BDS Home Office MPS Senior Manager. This work can be supported in BDS locations; Berkeley, MO, Mesa, AZ, Ridley Park, PA, Huntsville, AL, Heath, OH, or Tukwila, WA.

The position will facilitate and lead a diverse team of users from all Boeing BDS sites and Programs who use or are planned to use the BDS Common Business Systems.  This person also has responsibility for training and developing the technical expertise of the team and will serve as a subject matter expert on matters pertaining to policies, processes, plans, and objectives. 

The candidate must have demonstrated analytical capability and excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with multiple levels of leadership. Flexibility, initiative, detail orientation, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn new areas are essential requirements to successfully perform in this dynamic and exciting environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Intercomponent Work Authorizations (IWA) IP&S Home Office Subject Matter Expert (SME) by understanding the IWA lifecycle and providing user support for Boeing Recurring and Independent Demand Scheduling System (BRAIDSS) and Compass contract workflows, including order management and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with SAP and IP&S functional users to develop future-state business processes and system requirements for IWA and sales-order management, while supporting end-to-end testing scenarios and documenting results and necessary changes.
  • Utilize data analytics to collect, clean, and validate scheduling data from various sources for consistent planning and reporting outputs.
  • Assess and implement additional processes to enhance schedule simulations and forecasting.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3+ years’ experience in change management, program planning, project management, integrated scheduling, Industrial Engineering or Business Operations
  • 3+ years’ experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
  • 1+ year experience using Integrated Scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Open Plan Professional, Primavera, etc.
  • 1+ year experience working with Microsoft Office Applications

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Basic knowledge of Production Scheduling methodology and/or BRAIDSS, including the IWA process, or ability to quickly learn these processes.
  • Working knowledge of MRP demand planning systems.
  • Experience in ERP transformation projects, including designing test scenarios, conducting integration testing, and documenting system acceptance criteria for order flows and scheduling data.
  • Experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
  • Experience with SQL/Teradata SQL, R, Python or Toad
  • Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or Excel PowerPivot and presenting findings to leadership.
  • Some experience with Manufacturing Execution Software and/or MESci

Summary pay range:

Level 3 (Mid-Level): $94,350 - $136,850

Level 4 (Senior): $118,150 - $171,350
