The Boeing CompanyThe Boeing Company is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mid-Level Industrial Security Specialist to join the team in Mesa, AZ.
This individual will work with both senior and junior staff members to administer and implement United States (US) Industrial Security Standards as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM), the DoD Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security Manual, Special Access Program (SAP) Security rules and/or other authoritative sources of security regulations.
As an individual contributor, you will ensure programmatic security posture is compliant with all applicable regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
Demonstrate proficiency with/utilize specific databases to determine personnel eligibility to access classified information – Joint Personnel Adjudication System/ Defense Information System for Security (JPAS/DISS), Scattered Castles, Joint Access Database Environment (JADE), Joint Adjudication Management System (JADS), Enterprise Security Systems (SIMS), and other databases and record-keeping repositories
Conduct initial and recurring security briefings to cleared workforce members on topics such as critical program information, marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information, operations security, physical and communication security, and other security training as required
Manage personnel records, classified material records and/or other sensitive records in order to ensure the highest levels of data integrity and correctness
Conduct inventories and records reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy and accountability
Prepare activity or program Concept of Operation (CONOPs) outlining unique security protection requirements for sensitive operations; establish procedures for protecting, handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials
Coordinate across the security workforce, Boeing engineering, managerial and technical teams, as well as senior Boeing personnel and US Government customers to seek contract execution approvals, security rulings or deviations as may be required
Validate internal security controls through the performance of detailed compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections
Identify deficiencies; and recommend and/or implements timely corrective action(s)
Assist less experienced employees with the administration and execution of security protocols
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Successfully completed a Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have you been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
3+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
Experience working with Microsoft Office Applications
Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE), National Security Training Institute/Special Aerospace Security Services (NSTI/SASSI) or other Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) -705, Joint SAP Implementation Guide/ Risk Management Framework (JSIG/RMF), Communications Security (COMSEC), or related security certifications
Experience with Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer (A/CPSO) or Alternate Contractor Special Security Officer (A/CSSO)
Experience working in an SCI/SAP/aerospace security/intelligence community environment
Experience with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and Department of Defense (DoD) SAP manuals
Experience multi-tasking with minimal supervision
Experience working in a fast-paced environment

Summary pay range: $88,400 – $119,600
