About the Role
We are seeking a Cloud Governance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud governance and infrastructure, along with a basic understanding of audit processes and methodologies. This role requires both technical and interpersonal skills to support cloud governance initiatives and promote a collaborative work environment.
What you'll do:
- Provide development, implementation, and maintenance of cloud governance frameworks, policies, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, as well as consistent and secure use of cloud services across the organization;
- Contribute to the design and optimization of cloud infrastructure to support business objectives;
- Develop and implement security and compliance controls and processes to mitigate risks associated with cloud services, including data protection, access controls, and regulatory compliance;
- Participate in audits and assessments such as NIST CSF, IT internal controls, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC reports, and other applicable frameworks;
- Support the maintenance of ITIL processes to ensure efficient and effective cloud operations;
- Apply agile methodologies to collaborate on the management and delivery of cloud governance projects;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote cloud governance best practices and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll need:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies, auditing, and ITIL are desirable;
- Knowledge of cloud governance and policy development.
- Good understanding of cloud infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of audit processes and standards (NIST, IT Internal Controls, ISO27001, SOC reports).
- Desired knowledge in microservices architecture and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management.
- Desired knowledge of cloud tools such as Azure and Google Cloud.
- Experience in cloud governance, infrastructure, and architecture is an advantage;
- Experience in supporting cloud governance initiatives and working with cross-functional teams;
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, infrastructure automation and CI/CD;
- Proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
