The Head of Business Applications supports the WMUK business to define and build new IT Services to meet rapidly evolving business needs and support business growth.

The Power Platform Developer will report into the Platform Lead and will work closely with the key business stakeholders across Wealth Management as well as Group IT and local IT teams in our other locations. 

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Microsoft Power Platform Developer to enhance and optimise our use of Power Platform and Dynamics 365. Reporting to the Platform Lead, you will collaborate closely with the Power Platform team and key business stakeholders across Wealth Management.

In this role, you will develop and improve our Dynamics 365 and Power Platform estate, ensuring high-quality solutions that support business operations and growth. You will balance technical complexity with business needs, keep pace with industry trends, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. Working with colleagues across the division and wider group, you will help maintain and support our Power Platform solutions, ensuring best practices in design, development, and governance.

You are pragmatic and able to balance business needs and complexity. You keep pace with technology trends and foster a culture of continuous improvement - learning from past challenges and being able to suggest innovations in technology on behalf of the business.

The role is based in London but occasionally you may be expected to travel to other locations as the role demands.

Responsibilities

• Development & Coding:
  • Coding and development of innovative solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform including Power Automate, Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas Apps), D365
  • Use best practices in the development of solutions and ensure documentation is robust and easy to understand
• Solution Support & Improvement:
  • Provide ongoing support and continuous improvement for existing solutions.
  • Ensure appropriate governance and support documentation is in place.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work as a technical SME within the change portfolio for the Power Platform and Dynamics 365 and communicate necessary updates to stakeholders around the business.
• Solution Design:
  • Contribute to the technical design and architecture of our solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform including Dynamics 365, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Ensure our solution adheres to group standards across architecture, security and integration.

Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Developer working with Power Platform/Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in configuring and customizing Dynamics 365/Power Platform.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience with data integration.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
