About the Role

Contract type: Fixed Term Contract – 6 months

The role sits within the Chief Data Office (CDO) and reports to the Head of Data Analytics. 

The purpose of this role is to drive the transformation of our MI, specifically operational MI and implementation of the consumer duty reporting.

The key accountabilities for the role are as follows:

  • Conduct a top-to-bottom review of operational MI, processes, and governance and redefine KPIs and MI products to match stakeholder needs
  • Translate stakeholder needs into redesigned MI products (executive dashboards, operational packs, scorecards)
  • Drive a reliable and scalable MI operating model that improves decision-making, trust in data, and time-to-insight, with data storytelling at the heart
  • Determine how we move from static reporting to insight-driven reporting
  • Work with the Head of Operational Analytics on the MI transformation Roadmap, including delivery of the new Consumer Duty MI reporting suite and determining underlying actions needed in the back end data to pivot to a more strategic operating model
  • Coach others on best practise for data storytelling

About You

Qualifications

  • Degree in an analytical discipline (e.g. statistics, computer science, maths) or evidence of equivalent practical experience 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Experience of leading MI teams within wealth management
  • Proven experience in managing teams within a complex business environment
  • Strong understanding of how business strategy links to commercial outcomes through analytics and MI delivery
  • Experience in data visualisation and storytelling
  •  Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional projects and influence at senior levels

  • Strategic thinker with curious mindset and strong problem-solving skills with ability to frame the MI vision and align outcomes to business objectives
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear, concise manner
  • Able to support, coach and motivates others
  • Able to decompose ambiguous requirements into measurable KPIs and actionable insights
