We are seeking an 15+ years experienced Interoperability Test Manager to lead and manage a team of functional and automation test engineers delivering high‑quality healthcare integration solutions. The role requires strong domain knowledge in medical device and EMR application interoperability, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to define standards, measure progress, and communicate effectively with cross‑functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a people leader who can mentor, develop, and elevate the team to deliver consistent and predictable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

People & Team Management

  • Manage and lead a team of functional and automation testers to deliver on committed goals.

  • Define and implement gold standards for testing quality, processes, and delivery.

  • Groom, mentor, and develop team members to achieve higher technical and professional maturity.

  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning.

Interoperability & Domain Leadership

  • Provide strong leadership in healthcare interoperability testing, including:

    • Medical device integration with platforms

    • EMR / EHR application integration

  • Ensure test strategies adequately cover functional, integration, and automation aspects of interoperability.

  • Guide teams in understanding end‑to‑end data flows across devices, platforms, and EMR systems.

  • Drive best practices for validating interoperability, compatibility, and system behavior.

Project & Delivery Management

  • Bring strong project management skills to:

    • PMP Certification

    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Development, Architecture, DevOps)

    • Collect and clarify requirements and scope

    • Define timelines and milestones

  • Own and maintain the compatibility matrix across devices, EMR versions, and platform components.

  • Track execution progress and risks; proactively address issues and dependencies.

  • Ensure on‑time delivery with transparency and predictable outcomes.

Metrics, Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Define and track team KPIs and quality metrics to measure effectiveness and improvement.

  • Regularly measure, analyze, and showcase team progress and achievements.

  • Communicate status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders proactively and in a timely manner.

  • Act as the single point of contact for test‑related updates across programs.

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

  • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills to handle complex interoperability challenges.

  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality or delivery issues.

  • Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and collaboration models.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing functional and automation testing teams.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Medical device interoperability

    • EMR / EHR application integration

  • Excellent project management and coordination skills.

  • Experience defining testing standards, KPIs, and quality benchmarks.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Ability to mentor, coach, and develop high‑performing teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
