Position Summary

The Manager of Business Operations is responsible for identifying and implementing opportunities within Mary Bridge (MB) Children's ambulatory and or hospital-based division that supports leaders in growth of service lines and improves bottom-line performance. The Manager provides direct supervision to a small team and leads through influence to the larger MB network (which could include surgical scheduling, and other supporting roles). The position provides strategic guidance around revenue and growth opportunities (including geographic expansions and or utilization, new service locations, or new service lines), and operational efficiencies. Parnering with leaders, this position improves operational processes that optimize the business unit's performance to help reach financial and strategic goals with decision support and analytics (E.g. charge capture, OR statistical analysis, etc). Hospital-based leaders may have a dual matrixed reporting structure.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related area
  • Master’s Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Hospital Administration preferred
  • Five (5) years of work experience in business operations, finance, billing, or accounting
  • Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or lead capacity
  • Ambulatory roles: Experience in a healthcare organization or in a medical group setting preferred
  • Perioperative roles: Experience in surgical or perioperative setting preferred
  • Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum qualifications

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $108,680.00 - $156,353.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
