Job Description

As a Change Management (CH) Section Manager at OMT, you will have the responsibilities of providing leadership to a team of engineers and technicians to define and execute the strategic direction of Management of Change. Need to ensure that conversion and change cycle times are met with consistent quality. Need to continually improve operations efficiency through business process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Define and execute the strategic direction of Management of Change.
  • Drive consistency across all business management systems relating to product quality.
  • Collaborate with Fab team members to focus the organization on coordinated changes and sustainable methodologies that meet internal, corporate and customer expectations.
  • Manage MES applications and ensure proper governance of access. Ensure that MES executions are pertaining to business rules.
  • Make use of new technology to enable automation for Management and Execution of change.
  • Continually develop and drive effective metrics to drive the organization forward.
  • Collaborate with WW Fabs CH to further strengthen Change Management teams and enable cross fab execution.
  • Provide clarity, resources, and career development opportunities for their team.
  • Establish goals and develop timelines to allow the team and the fab to meet critical performance objectives.
  • Manage all staffing, training, and personnel development of area team members.
  • Develop challenging performance targets and ensure Line of Sight is communicated to individual contributors.
  • All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame.
  • For business process and/or PCM component that one is responsible or accountable for:

a) ensuring the PCM/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements.

b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs.

c) reporting on PCM/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management.

d) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization.

e) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the PCM/ business process when changes are planned and implemented.

f) ensuring customer requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mathematical Statistics, Engineering or Physics or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • More than one year of leadership experience is better.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and problem-solving skills are better.
  • Strong knowledge of Micron Enterprise system (Sigma, SPACE, ET, GeRM) and Global Change Process (GCP).
  • Strong negotiating and diplomacy skills and has partnered successfully with other groups and has built strong peer relationships.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
  • Successfully demonstrated skill in obtaining results through individual contribution and the coordination of multiple teams.
  • Strong customer service skills and is dedicated to meeting the needs of customers.
