As a Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., your role includes handling and developing direct reports to enable outstanding functional service delivery. You will be responsible for handling and improving functional area performance by collaborating with internal and external customers to build and comprehensive strategies aligned to corporate strategic objectives. You will assist with improving individual capability by conducting performance appraisals with team members to create goals and development plans.

You will supervise performance metrics to identify and implement continual improvement opportunities. Other responsibilities include ensuring interpersonal compliance with company policies, regulations, and departmental procedures. The role also involves providing interpersonal leadership to develop and implement department strategies, processes, and policies. This is done through active participation in functional teams and projects, and by mentoring other functional leaders through collaboration and crafting balanced solutions.

• Responsibilities:
  • Complete all required safety training and ensuring all works are conducted in accordance with Micron’s safety policies.
  • Support the definition of projects and programs to meet goals for startup, yield, quality, cost and output.
  • Assist in the development of project plans and associated communications material/plan
  • Work closely with cross-function area to meet company's goal and top focus.
  • Build strong relationships with external/internal stakeholders - all Micron network
  • Make training resources available and provide guidance on process & equipment related programs, systems, and processes
  • Responsible for creating and driving a performance plan for each employee with a formal regularly review
  • Lead each member of your team of their job expectations, and hold them accountable to the expectations
  • Meet regularly with each employee to work on clarifying expectations, developmental plans/execution
  • Coach, mentor, empower and supervise team members
  • Provide recognition for progress and project/program member contributions
