Do you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for data-driven problem solving? Join the Meter Services team within Fort Worth’s Customer Care Division and play a key role in advancing the City’s smart water technology.
As a Meter Data Technician, you will monitor, analyze, and validate water meter data collected through our Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) systems. Your work will directly support water accuracy, billing integrity, and customer satisfaction across the city. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be expected to clearly document findings, collaborate with internal teams, expedite, prioritize, and effectively communicate work orders to field staff, and occasionally communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. This is a chance to make a real operational impact while working with innovative tools and technology.
