In this role, you will prepare metal surfaces for painting and coating by removing contaminants and ensuring proper surface quality. What We Offer

Starting Pay: $24.87/hour
Shift Premium: +$1.00/hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts
Wage Progression: Increases every 6 months until top pay, then annually

Shift Overview
3rd Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Includes a paid lunch
Always-available, completely voluntary overtime before or after your shift

Key Responsibilities / Your Impact

  • Prepare metal surfaces for coating by removing oils, grease, and contaminants
  • Operate hand-held and automated washing and surface preparation equipment
  • Ensure surfaces meet required cleanliness and profile standards
  • Mix and monitor wash solutions to meet company and customer requirements
  • Assist with basic prime coat painting as needed
  • Move, position, and handle materials safely throughout the process

  • Work safely and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Perform self-inspections and support quality standards
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Assist with training and support team members
  • Help in higher-level tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to read and write with basic mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to follow instructions and work with moderate supervision
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or carry up to 35 pounds (lifting devices available)

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
