The Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Local Market Execution owns the execution and performance management of the commercial operating plan—ensuring strategic alignment and aligning revenue, retention, and margin goals. Translates defined strategies into clear initiatives with owners, timelines, budgets, and KPIs, and  drives cross functional execution  across Sales, Account Management, Marketing, Product, and Finance. Runs and continuously improves the operating rhythm (forecast and pipeline reviews, QBRs, deal/pricing governance), monitors leading and lagging indicators, and initiates corrective actions to close gaps. Provides hands on guidance on territory/quota deployment, capacity, sales plays and enablement, and go-to-market program execution. Escalates risks, removes roadblocks, and holds stakeholders accountable to deliver outcomes on plan. Supports LMD leadership in development of corporate strategy presentations, monthly operating reviews, and other executive leadership updates.

 

What you will do 

  • Allocates accountability to cross-functional teams to ensure successful development and implementation of strategic plans. 
  • Collaborates with multiple departments through workshops and brainstorming sessions to facilitate interactive discussions that stimulate creativity and collaboration. 
  • Communicates the direction for technology-enabled collaborations to engage stakeholders that are geographically dispersed. 
  • Conducts reviews and performance assessments to evaluate and provide feedback on strategic outcomes. 
  • Consolidates details from the strategic plan for senior leadership, department heads, and employees to address questions, obtain feedback, and secure buy-in and support. 
  • Creates a strategic planning framework that defines timelines, milestones, and deliverables throughout the implementation process. 
  • Decides on the action plan best suited to define process ownership and resource allocation for each strategic initiative. 
  • Delivers a comprehensive, post-implementation evaluation to assess the impact of strategic processes for improved future outcomes. 

 

Required Qualifications:

You will have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment. This position offers broad exposure to all aspects of the company’s business, as well as significant interaction with all the business leaders. The candidate will be expected to have the following key attributes:

 

  • 7-10 years of industry experience and expertise within healthcare services organizations in several of the following areas: strategy consulting, business strategy, product, executive communications, operations, and change management.

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work expereince.

 

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$67,900.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
