Job Purpose:
Develop and maintain standardised end-to-end demand planning solutions for each Retail vendor/ customer combination through effective planning and forecasting
Responsibilities:
- To champion the role and the relevance of accurate sales forecasting across the Retail business
- Ensure the profitable fulfilment and sell through of Retail stock in line with customer, vendor and TD SYNNEX requirements through the use of demand planning and supply chain analysis practices
- Develop strong relationships with vendors and customers to maximise stock availability and minimise stock holding
- Create and develop vendor and customer sales forecasting relationships through use of supply chain tools, conference calls and regular face-to-face meetings.
- Develop internal relationships with stakeholders through use of supply chain tools and implement and drive internal sales and operations meetings on a periodic basis
- Be the primary interface between Focussed Business Units (FBU) and internal sales to facilitate stock sell through and target achievement in line with agreed KPIs
- Take ownership of Retail stock from point of vendor launch and work with Sales teams to build intake plan
- Maintain stock availability to fulfil customer sales in line with the sales forecast whilst managing aged and risk stock
- Using sales forecasting and sales intelligence analysis, work with Sales teams and FBU to minimise provision stock.
- Monitor daily and weekly retail performance against target, and take action accordingly to maximise sales against forecast where appropriate
- Develop standardised KPIs and publish regular dashboard to stakeholders
- Work with warehousing and logistics functions to manage current and projected stock holding and stock flow in line with company targets and customer demand
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge and understanding of demand planning and supply chain analysis practices
- Understanding of vendor portfolios & technology segments
- Excellent analytical skills

- High level of Numeracy
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Good planning and organising skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and face-to-face)
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative
- Ability to work proactively with minimum supervision
- Customer focused
- Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills are essential
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
