Job Description:
TD Merchant Solutions (TDMS) is a fast-paced business within Business Banking, operating at the intersection of payments, technology, and commerce. We are at the forefront of key industry trends including e‑commerce, integrated POS solutions, payments innovation, and strategic partnerships that are reshaping how businesses operate and grow.
TDMS provides reliable, flexible, and easy‑to‑use payment solutions—including e‑commerce and Point of Sale (POS)—to small business, commercial, and midmarket clients across Canada. These end‑to‑end capabilities are a powerful competitive advantage that allows us to deliver seamless, trusted, and scalable solutions to our merchants.
A cornerstone of our growth strategy is our Clover partnership, which brings together TD’s trusted brand and banking strength with one of the most innovative POS platforms in the market. Clover enables merchants to access modern, app‑based technology that supports payments, business management, insights, and growth—all in one ecosystem. This partnership creates a compelling value proposition for merchants and a significant opportunity for sales professionals to engage clients with a differentiated, market‑leading solution.
As a trusted business partner, TD Merchant Solutions supports businesses of all sizes—from local entrepreneurs to some of Canada’s largest retailers—helping them simplify operations, improve customer experiences, and scale with confidence. Our comprehensive suite of payment acceptance, banking and business solutions helps us win in this highly competitive market.
The Business Development Specialist (BDS) is a merchant‑centric, growth‑focused sales role within TD Merchant Solutions, designed for professionals who thrive in a fast‑paced, opportunity‑rich environment.
