Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Mental Health Therapist & Referral Specialist. - Boca Raton, FL.
The Mental Health Therapist & Referral Specialist is responsible for providing mental health services to enrolled students (i.e., conducting initial assessments and determination of treatment needs; conducting individual, couples, and group psychotherapy; conducting crisis counseling).
Summary of responsibilities:
Work with students to provide referrals to external agencies.
Provide outreach services to the university community and develop liaison relationships across the University with a goal of primary prevention and psychoeducation on mental health concerns.
Provide clinical supervision to Master's trainees.
Complete administrative tasks, provide outreach to the university community, engage within the University and Division of Student Affairs, and provide clinical supervision to trainees.
Serves as Essential Personnel and provides assistance in the event of a campus emergency.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
