Working Location:

San Jose: South San Jose Center (In-Person Position)

Working Hours/Shift:

Monday-Friday, AM Shift

What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):

Education

  • Master’s degree in a mental health field
  • Will Consider:
  • Awaiting BBS registration number (time limited)

Experience

  • MHSII - One (1) year of experience in a mental health field; experience should be with individuals in residential or outpatient settings preferred.
  • MHSIII - Two (2) years of experience in a mental health field; experience should be preferred with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings.

License or Certification:

  • MHSII - BBS Associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC) registration or awaiting BBS registration number.
  • MHSIII - LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in California
  • Valid California Driver's License.

NOTE: Must possess a valid California Driver's License and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy.

How you will make a difference (job overview):

This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to individuals and their families referred to Community Services.  Services may include engagement, assessment, evaluation, individual/family/group therapy, and case management.  The position acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical and support staff.  In addition, the position documents and bills for mental health and case management services and completes outcomes information.

In accordance with California law, the grade for this position is 71,163.76 - 106,745.64. Placement within the grade is determined based on experience, internal equity, and other factors permitted by law.
