Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Laboratory Setting, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), No contact lens allowed; prescriptive glasses will be provided, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Strong Odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products etc.), Warehouse, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials, Working at heights

Job Description

Rotating schedule from 7pm – 7am (10% differential for Night Shift)

Location/Division Specific Information:
Within the Pharma Services Group (PSG), the High Point, NC location specializes in gelatin-based drug delivery dosage forms (softgels). Our expertise lies in the development and production of various softgel technologies.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

Follow SOPs and GMP procedures.

Medicine batch preparation according to the Batch Production Record (BPR).

Verify correct medicine code, lot numbers.

Troubleshooting, Problem solving Skills

Address issues related to medicine quality, mixing, or equipment.

A Day in the Life:

Manufacture simple, Bulk products

Observe medicine operations, take samples of product.

Ensure follows safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Ensure rooms and equipment are cleaned and ready for production.

Assist with cleanup and other medicine duties as needed



Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.


Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written skills

Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshoot

Ability to work 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation

Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested

Must have the flexibility to work additional hours when needed



Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Must have the ability to regularly lift, push, or transport items weighing up to 50 pounds

Adherence to all GMP safety standards

Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed

Loud noises (equipment/machinery)

Some degree of PPE required ( Safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc. )
