As a Medicare Supplement & Ancillary Benefit Advisor, you will primarily take inbound calls, and listen, consult, and advise clients over the phone on their Medicare supplement and ancillary health insurance options. You will also be responsible for outbound follow-up on pipeline, book of business, and referrals. Licensing will include all 50 states, will all top regional and national carriers with which eHealth is contracted. Measures of success will be performance-based by revenue generation, conversion, ancillary attach rate, and application and member retention.
What you’ll do:
Inbound sales and outbound follow-up on pipeline, book of business, and referrals
Ability to work a shift between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST Monday through Friday. Available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Maintain attendance and conformance standards.
Perform all responsibilities compliantly.
Carrier training and plan feedback
Demonstrate proficiency in all measurements, including Retention, Compliance, and Sales Mastery
Drive sales and revenue by assisting customers in making healthcare decisions over the phone
Meet monthly sales and performance goals
Remain current on products and processes in a multi-product environment
Abide by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicare Marketing Guidelines and company policies and procedures
Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.
Who you are:
You have 2 years of Sales or contact center experience with Medicare Supplement products
You are proficient at underwritten process and qualifying beneficiaries
You have a thorough understanding of State and Federal GI rights
You currently possess a health license.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes a monthly commission-based incentive plan, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.-
