As our Transcatheter Heart Valve (TAVI) business continues to grow, we have an exciting new Medical Science Liaison Manager role, field-based in Germany (60% national travel expected, with occasional travel outside of the Germany).

Our Medical Science Liaison Manager is a strategic medical leader who drives high‑impact scientific engagement at center and national level. The role owns scientific interactions and follow‑up with key centers, serves as the local clinical data expert enabling strong internal education & alignment, and leads Key Opinion Leaders and NextGen community development based on identified scientific needs. Acting as the national Medical Affairs entry point for new research, the MSL Manager connects external innovation with internal strategy to advance meaningful medical and scientific partnerships.

How you will make an impact:

  • Leads local medical & scientific staff or meetings, bringing latest clinical data to key accounts and selected customers, discuss & collect feedback.

  • Gathers insights and latent needs to propose tailored action plans.

  • Leads local HCPs working group and generates locally relevant deliverables.

  • Serves as the local point of contact and SME for Medical Affairs, including as an entry point for new research proposals.

  • Supports CTM and CMM during local / national congresses, incl. scientific messaging and digest.

  • Attends local / national congresses, occasionally in selected European Congresses and summarizes data and insights.

  • Proactively builds and develops local HCPs / KOLs network, understands context & dynamics.

  • Supports KOLs and NextGen mapping.

What you will need:

  • Advanced scientific degree a must (e.g. PharmD, junior MD, PhD, sonographer or similar), ideally in a related field.

  • Previous 5 years experience within Cardiology fields, ideally as Medical Science Liaison or equivalent medical device and/or clinical work experience.

  • Possessing working knowledge of clinical research methodologies and statistical principles.

  • Thinking strategically with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Exhibiting exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. Business level English and German essential.

  • Ability to translate complex scientific complex into digestible yet accurate messages and actionable insights.

  • Maintaining strict attention to detail and excellent follow-up.

  • Ideally able to perform medical writing when needed.

  • Self-driven, able to manage workload, well organized, autonomous, motivated, and committed.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Adobe.
    Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels and with HCPs.

  • Ability to both work independently and in strong collaboration with diverse functions.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to travel nationally up to 60% and internationally up to 10%, occasionally during week-ends.

  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
