Position Summary You will combine the Medical Science Liaison role with leadership for patient engagement across the Philippines. You will build trusted scientific relationships with clinicians, investigators and patient groups. You will enable clinical research and design patient-focused activities that bring lived experience into our medical strategy. We value clear, ethical communication, curiosity and teamwork. Responsibilities This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: - Build and maintain trusted, evidence-based relationships with clinicians, investigators and patient organisations across the Philippines. - Deliver balanced scientific education and medical information through one-to-one meetings, advisory boards, workshops and congress activities. - Identify and support investigators and sites to enable clinical studies and patient recruitment. - Design and lead patient engagement initiatives to capture lived experience and inform study design and local medical plans. - Capture, synthesise and report scientific and patient insights from the field to inform local and global medical strategy. - Work closely with cross-functional colleagues to align scientific, clinical research and patient engagement priorities. Why You? This role is hybrid with regular field work. You will be expected to work in the field and attend the local office as required. Regular regional travel may be required. Basic Qualification We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals: - Degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, allied health or life sciences relevant to healthcare. - Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Medical Science Liaison, Patient Engagement Manager, or similar medical affairs or clinical research role. - Strong clinical knowledge relevant to the therapeutic area you will cover and comfort discussing scientific evidence with healthcare professionals. - Demonstrable experience working with patient groups, advocacy organisations or patient engagement activities. - Excellent communication skills in English and Filipino or other relevant local language. - Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the Philippines for field and site activities. Preferred Qualification If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: - Advanced degree or postgraduate training in clinical research, public health, pharmacology, nursing or a related field. - Experience supporting clinical trials, investigator-initiated studies or site feasibility and activation. - Prior experience developing patient engagement programs or managing patient advisory boards. - Familiarity with the Philippine healthcare system and local research environment. - Experience working with global and cross-functional teams in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. - Proficiency with digital tools for presentations, data capture and medical information systems.
