At Lilly Canada, we have two levels of Medical Science Liaison positions based on the candidate’s experience, background, and qualifications. The expected compensation is:
Range 1: $100,500 - $147,400
Range 2: $117,750 - $172,700
This role is eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as participation in the Lilly Bonus Program and a company vehicle.

Responsibilities
The MSL will serve as a scientific resource for Canadian experts in the field of Diabetes, Obesity and related disorders. The MSL is responsible for responding to requests for in-depth, cutting-edge scientific information from the medical community in the fields of diabetes and chronic weight management including the latest scientific literature, the latest research from major scientific conferences, updates on Lilly’s educational activities and Lilly’s pipeline research activities.
The MSL will also gather feedback and insight from Scientific Experts and Thought Leaders to better inform Lilly’s research and overall strategic direction. By facilitating scientific exchange between the academic community and Lilly, the MSL has the opportunity to shape the future of healthcare with information that addresses important clinical and scientific questions.
In all interactions, the MSL has responsibility to ensure that activities are compliant with all applicable guidelines, Rules and Regulations for Conducting Research, IMC Code of Conduct, Eli Lilly Canada Policies & Procedures, and other prevailing regulations/codes that may pertain to their work in the future.

Develop and maintain mutually beneficial, peer-to-peer relationships with the scientific community

Support the affiliate medical business objectives and cross functional partners

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$100,500 - $189,970Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance). In addition, Lilly offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees, including eligibility to participate in a pension plan; vacation benefits; eligibility for healthcare benefits; flexible benefits (if applicable) life insurance and death benefits; certain time off and leave of absence benefits; and well-being benefits (e.g., employee assistance program, fitness benefits, and employee clubs and activities).
