As a Medical Science Lead within the Diagnostics Healthcare Solutions Chapter, you will bridge cutting-edge science and clinical practice to enhance patient outcomes. In this impactful role, you will engage with healthcare professionals, contribute to innovative healthcare strategies, and support advancements in digital healthcare. By providing scientific insights and fostering meaningful stakeholder relationships, you’ll help shape the future of diagnostics and advance patient care. The Opportunity
You provide scientific and educational support to customers, addressing inquiries and delivering engaging presentations on Roche’s innovative solutions.
You oversee and manage local clinical and real-world evidence (RWE) studies, including Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS), ensuring insights align with local and global standards.
You analyze and interpret clinical and non-clinical data, communicating findings effectively to diverse audiences.
You cultivate and maintain credible, professional relationships with leading external scientific experts and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
You drive the creation and implementation of the local medical plans in alignment with global strategy to ensure patient access to innovative diagnostic solutions.
You act as the strategic medical partner in the local cross-functional team, translating scientific insights into impactful business strategies and providing training and in-depth scientific support to internal teams.
You participate in scientific congresses, workshops, and training programs to stay informed, represent Roche’s expertise, share knowledge with stakeholders and drive evidence-based decision-making.
You ensure all medical activities, communications, and clinical studies strictly adhere to regulatory guidelines, ethical standards, and company SOPs.
You partner with the local and regional Market Access team to develop robust medical dossiers and evidence packages required for payer negotiations and successful value dossier submissions.
You define the need for and execute studies to generate health economic data essential for reimbursement decisions.
You validate and communicate the product's clinical and economic value proposition to regional formulary committees, key payers, and other healthcare decision-makers.
Who You Are
You hold a degree in health sciences (MSc or PhD is a plus) and have experience analyzing and interpreting data to effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences. Professional experience within the pharmaceutical/diagnostic industry is a strong asset.
You have knowledge in supporting Market Access initiatives, including Health Technology Assessment (HTA) processes, developing medical dossiers, and communicating economic value data. Candidates who can effectively articulate the value proposition to payers and demonstrate experience will be highly competitive.
You bring familiarity with diagnostic solutions, including Cardiometabolic and Neurology Disease areas; experience with Roche Diagnostics products is advantageous.
You are fluent in Greek and English, with strong proficiency in digital tools such as CRM systems, MS Office, and other platforms for scientific collaboration.
You demonstrate excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a strategic mindset and the ability to make confident decisions under uncertainty.
You are proactive, self-driven, and open to traveling locally and internationally to engage with stakeholders and represent Roche.
