Support UK Medical Review
Position based in Poland, Warsaw.
Pfizer is seeking accomplished Medical Review Specialists to join our Poland office, providing essential support for the evaluation and approval of promotional and non-promotional medical content destined for the UK market. This position requires a steadfast commitment to accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Pfizer’s global policies and UK-specific regulations. As a pivotal contributor within the medical review team, you will champion best practices, drive operational improvements, and deliver significant value to UK colleagues. The role offers the opportunity to shape innovative approaches in medical review and compliance.
Deliver subject matter expertise in Medical Review, ensuring efficient execution of promotional and medical initiatives.
Collect and analyse performance metrics to measure Medical Review utilisation and impact.
Collaborate with UK stakeholders to enhance engagement with Medical and Marketing teams.
Support continual process improvement and documentation to uphold compliance and efficiency.
Guide Marketing and Medical teams in the creation of compliant materials.
Consult with Medical, Marketing, and Medical Review colleagues to address content needs across a variety of channels, including corporate and social media.
Build relationships dedicated to continuous improvement with leaders, peers, and external partners.
Coordinate workflow and communication between departments to optimise operations.
Act as a super-user and advocate for Pfizer’s electronic approval systems, ensuring thorough review of all materials.
Perform comprehensive scientific reviews, fact-checking, and approval of promotional and non-promotional materials in alignment with UK product labels and regulatory criteria.
Provide feedback to content owners to ensure proper use and compliance of Pfizer medicines.
Keep abreast of relevant scientific information, competitor products, and UK guidelines.
Maintain current knowledge of UK regulations and Pfizer protocols.
Assist in maintaining the accuracy of local policies and support audit and training initiatives.
Collaborate effectively across multiple time zones to manage workload and deadlines.
BSc, MSc, or PhD in health sciences, pharmacy, or medicine.
Exceptional written and spoken English skills.
Experience in medical review is highly desirable.
Background in Medical Affairs or Commercial roles is advantageous.
Prior experience in medical writing or review within agency, CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotech settings is valued.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders and meet challenging deadlines.
Experience in medical content development, promotional review, or regulatory quality control is beneficial but not essential.
Exceptional attention to detail and advanced analytical skills.
Ability to work independently with accountability, prioritising multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative, cross-functional approach.
Keen interest in legal and regulatory aspects of promotional compliance.
Strong digital skills, including proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Ability to distil complex scientific data into clear, concise written content.
Rapid adaptability to new therapeutic areas and scientific topics.
