Position Summary

Position provides medical records/scan support to department.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains scanning folders timely and accurately.

  • Monitors stat scanning to ensure availability in EHR within two hours of receipt.

  • Monitors and distributes faxes and mail throughout the day.

  • Monitors and files Batch (DISC Fax) documents through Epic, Allscripts, TouchChart.

  • Retrieves archive records via HITS or microfiche and scans to EHR.

  • Reconciles failed faxes in EHR.

  • Attends meetings as required. Approximately once a month.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Typically sitting at desk or table.

  • Repetitive wrist, hand or finger movement (PC Typing).
