As a Receptionist, you'll ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they arrive, functioning as the welcoming face of our healthcare facility. Working onsite, you will report to the Manager, Clinic/Center Administration. You'll manage front desk operations, support clinical staff, and help maintain a smooth and compassionate environment. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a dynamic setting and enjoys making a positive impact on others.
As a Receptionist, you'll:
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, in person and over the phone, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, manage calendars, and collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using EMR and CRM systems.
- Update patient accounts and collect copays when needed.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information and empathy.
- Keep the reception area clean, stocked, and organized.
- Help with supply orders, inventory management, and courier coordination.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ year experience in healthcare customer service background in retail, hospitality, or call centers also considered
- Convey information and maintain a positive, tone during calls
- Experience coordinating tasks, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient workflow
- Experience using MS Office tools for reporting, data analysis, and workflow optimization
- Experience improving patient care and experience
- This is a patient-facing role and part of our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. We require TB screening upon hire.
Preferred
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Experience with EMR Systems (Electronic Medical Records)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$38,000 - $45,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
