The Medical Receptionist Float - VSP welcomes patients and offers administrative support within a physician practice or center. This may include the following responsibilities:
Greet Patients: Welcome patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone.
Schedule Appointments: Manage appointment calendars, schedule patient visits, and coordinate with medical staff to improve schedules.
Patient Records: Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy. Work in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
Billing and Payments: Ensure patient accounts are updated correctly. May include collecting copay at time of visit.
Inquiries and Communication: Answer incoming calls, respond to patient inquiries, and provide general information.
Office Management: Ensure the reception area is tidy, sanitized, and well-stocked with necessary materials.
Administrative Support: Help with other administrative tasks, such as ordering supplies, managing office inventory, and sending courier packages.
The Medical Receptionist Float - VSP position will require travel / float to clinics in Middle Tennessee, as far West as Bellevue, North as Clarksville, East as Lebanon, and South as Murfreesboro. Mileage will be reimbursed for all travel.
