About Cabrini Outreach
Cabrini Outreach is the charitable arm of Cabrini, dedicated to promoting social justice, reducing inequality, and improving access to healthcare for people seeking asylum and those experiencing disadvantage in Australia and internationally.
The Cabrini Asylum Seeker and Refugee Health Hub provides free, compassionate primary and mental health care to people seeking asylum who are Medicare-ineligible or without income. Our care model is trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and centred on understanding the broader psychosocial factors that impact health. The Hub is recognised for its excellence, winning the Victorian Multicultural Commission Award for Excellence in Health (2021).

The Role
As the Medical Receptionist, you will be an essential member of the Health Hub team, providing the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and healthcare professionals. You will deliver a warm, welcoming and culturally sensitive reception experience while managing administrative tasks efficiently and contributing to the smooth daily operations of the service.
About you

You will have:
Previous experience in medical reception or practice administration
Knowledge or training in office administration, paperless systems, file management and patient record confidentiality
Experience with relevant software, including Microsoft Office, electronic medical record and booking systems (e.g. Medical Director/PracSoft), and HPOS
Strong organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone
Experience and/or willingness to work in a multicultural environment
Willingness to use interpreters when needed
