Medical Intern - one year Intern

Position Summary
You will join the Medical Affairs team in Taiwan as a Medical Intern. You will support medical data analysis, cross-functional projects, and activities that link scientific evidence to practical medical strategy. You will work closely with medical colleagues, commercial teams, and external partners. We value curiosity, clear communication, and a commitment to learning. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Analyse medical performance metrics and support preparation of concise reports and visual summaries.
  • Support compilation and maintenance of medical documentation, trackers, and audit-ready files.
  • Help prepare materials for internal medical review and cross-functional meetings, ensuring clarity and accuracy.
  • Assist in collecting and summarising clinical and scientific literature to inform medical strategy and communications.
  • Support coordination of local medical activities, including medical education events and external expert engagements.
  • Monitor local scientific and regulatory updates and prepare short summaries for the team.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, public health, or a related field.
  • Strong written and spoken Mandarin (Taiwan); good working knowledge of English.
  • Able to work on-site in Taiwan; this role is primarily on-site with possible limited hybrid working depending on team needs.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data handling tools.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow standard processes for documentation and version control.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work collaboratively across teams.


Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Previous internship or project experience in medical affairs, clinical research, regulatory, or related healthcare settings.
  • Basic knowledge of clinical data interpretation or evidence synthesis.
  • Familiarity with medical review processes, scientific congress support, or medical education activities.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools or simple analytics (for example Excel pivot tables, charts, or basic BI tools).
  • Strong organisational skills and experience coordinating events or meetings.
  • Interest in patient-centred medicine and in building a career in medical affairs or related functions.
