As a Medical Education Specialist based in Warsaw, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how healthcare professionals across Poland engage with our innovations. This is a highly collaborative role where medical education, strategy and relationships come together to improve patient outcomes and support safe and effective adoption of our products.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will be at the heart of Smith+Nephew’s medical education activity, working across franchises and territories to understand healthcare professional training needs and translate them into impactful learning journeys. You will partner closely with commercial, marketing, professional affairs and R&D colleagues to bring divisional strategies to life through engaging medical education programmes. From leading customer engagements and managing medical education events to overseeing needs assessments, compliance activities and budgets, your work will ensure our educational initiatives are relevant, compliant and truly valuable for our customers.
What will you need to be successful?
Success in this role comes from combining strong organisational skills with credibility in medical education and the ability to build trusted relationships. To thrive, you will bring:
- Experience in medical education, marketing, professional affairs or a related function within the medical or healthcare industry, ideally with exposure to orthopaedics or wound management
- The ability to plan, manage and deliver multiple projects and events simultaneously while maintaining high compliance standards
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively across cross functional teams and with healthcare professionals
- A proactive, structured approach with confidence in managing budgets, reporting and stakeholder expectations
