Progyny is seeking a Medical Economics & Analytics (MEA) intern to join our team this summer in New York City. Our team is at the forefront of key strategic initiatives of the nation’s leading fertility benefits management company. In this role, you will conduct data analysis, collaborate cross-functionally, and present to various internal stakeholders. You will learn the nuances of fertility, dive into the complex world of healthcare analytics and contribute to meaningful changes in the way we support our users.

Progyny’s internship program aligns the intern to a specific business leader to execute on a specific project plan.
The internship begins June 2nd 2026, and culminates in a presentation to senior leadership.
What you’ll do…
Work with large, complex datasets and assist in gathering, cleaning, and analyzing data from various sources to support business decision-making
Leverage analytical skills and problem-solving abilities to create strategic concepts aimed at driving the business forward
Understand and assess the various drivers impacting key performance indicators (KPIs) and outcomes. Provide fact-based recommendations to stakeholders based on your findings.
Develop user-friendly reports and dashboards to monitor, evaluate, and improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency
Collaborate closely with various departments to facilitate data-driven conversations and create impactful presentations
At the end of the summer, build and deliver a comprehensive presentation to senior leadership highlighting the themes, insights, and actionable outcomes from your work
About you...
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Strong Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) skills and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables
Organized and methodical with strong attention to detail
Comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives
Demonstrated ability to be adaptive and inquisitive; natural problem solver
Prefers to work independently with clear initial guidance/requests leveraging cross-functional resources and teams
Driven to deliver results with the ability to establish rapport, earn trust, and effectively collaborate with others

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the hourly salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $25.00/hour - $50.00/hour. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
