AmeriVet

Medical Director

Southfield, MI Full time

About Our Clinic

Luv-N-Care Animal Hospital is preparing for a thoughtful relaunch under new medical leadership. This role offers a unique opportunity to build and lead a team from the ground up, establish medical standards, and shape clinic culture from day one.

Rather than inheriting a full caseload and existing systems, the incoming Medical Director will partner closely with ownership and operations to:

  • Recruit and mentor a new clinical team

  • Set medical protocols and workflows

  • Influence scheduling, staffing ratios, and patient flow

  • Play a key role in the hospital’s long-term growth and success

This is an ideal opportunity for a veterinarian who enjoys leadership, autonomy, and leaving a lasting impact.

The hospital is currently closed while we invest in rebuilding the team and reopening with strong medical leadership in place. Ownership is committed to reopening the practice the right way — with appropriate staffing, support, and leadership from day one.

To support this relaunch, we are offering a base salary range of $180,000–$200,000, plus a Medical Director stipend, $50,000 sign-on bonus, and equity potential for the right candidate.
