Job Summary:
Provides clinical and administrative support to our surgeons and advanced practice providers. This is a highly visible position that is always responsible for creating a positive impression with patients, family members, and other visitors to the office.Job Description:

Communication / Customer Service
Provide courteous, respectful, and helpful service to patients, visitors, staff, and physicians seeking information and/or treatment (office, phone, email
communications, My Chart, etc.) Resolve routine patient problems and complaints on a timely basis. Handles conflict with customers constructively and appropriately. Initiate further follow-up with appropriate staff member(s). Duties include:
Revenue Cycle
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to patient privacy and confidentiality, i.e., HIPPA laws, Joint Commission.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education, Credentials, Licenses:
High school graduate or GED.
Graduate of accredited medical assisting school.
Successfully completed registration/certification exam.
Specialized Knowledge:
Ability to support providers with dictation/transcription tools (i.e., Dragon).
Familiarity with medical terminology.
Kind and Length of Experience:
One-year experience in medical setting including medical assisting.
