The Medical Assistant - College Student Program is for actively enrolled students in a health professions education degree program with a college or university.Job Duties:
The role is a per diem position designed specifically for college or university students to work while attending school.This is an in‑person, hands‑on training program that includes four weeks of uncertified training, clinic orientation, and competency evaluations.
Following the training MA's will join the float pool to address short-term staffing needs within the clinics.
Supports patients and providers within the outpatient setting by performing basic direct patient care activities.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
