About the Role
The Summer Intern will support the Health Proposition team in developing, enhancing, and promoting health and wellness propositions, value-added services, and ecosystem initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to health strategy, market research, partnership ecosystem development, and cross-functional collaboration, contributing to AIA’s purpose of helping people live Healthier, Longer, Better Lives.Responsibilities:Health Proposition & Strategy SupportSupport the team in conducting market research on health, wellness, and healthcare trends.
Assist in analysing customer needs, competitor offerings, and ecosystem developments.
Contribute to ideation and refinement of health propositions and value-added services.
Partnership & Ecosystem ResearchConduct desktop research on potential healthcare and wellness partners.
Prepare briefing materials and summaries on partner capabilities, service offerings, and market positioning.
Support documentation for partnership evaluation and onboarding processes.
Proposition Development & Project SupportAssist with the development of customer journey maps and proposition concepts.
Support project coordination for health proposition initiatives and pilots.
Help consolidate feedback from internal stakeholders and channels.
Integrated Healthcare Strategy (IHS) SupportSupport ongoing initiatives related to the Integrated Healthcare Strategy, particularly health products and services.
Help track project milestones, deliverables, and basic KPIs.
Promotional & Communication SupportAssist in preparing presentation materials, decks, and internal communications.
Support coordination with Marketing, Business Development, and Training teams.
Help compile content for internal sharing or customer-facing materials where appropriate.
Market Intelligence & InnovationMonitor emerging trends, technologies, and innovations in healthcare and wellness.
Prepare short research briefs or insight summaries for team discussions.
Propose creative ideas to enhance customer engagement in health and wellness initiatives.
Ad Hoc ProjectsProvide general analytical and administrative support to the Health Proposition team.
Assist on special projects assigned by the manager.
Requirements:Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Business, Insurance, Healthcare Management, or related disciplines
Strong interest in healthcare, wellness, insurance, or strategy-related fields
Good analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Strong communication skills with good command of English; Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an advantage
Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn
Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
