The role:
We are looking for 2 interns who want to be part of our Medical Affairs & License to Operate chapter. The Medical Affairs intern is a local, non-promotional field/office-based resource for delivering the scientific information that internal/external stakeholders require in the context of their work in accordance with local laws, regulations, codes, and Roche internal processes.
Your main responsibilities:
Provides a medical (therapeutic area & clinical) perspective to facilitate a faster patient journey, with better outcomes for more patients, following relevant laws, regulations, and Roche SOPs.
Contributes to Medical information delivery about our main therapeutic areas.
Acts as a medical enabler to successfully deliver and implement solutions for our teams in the field.
Works in a self-managed team of peers and ensures that you hold each accountable to effectively deliver solutions for our teams in the field.
Understands the key needs of the health ecosystem to support our colleagues in creating key medical messages to engage with key stakeholders and get sustainable outcomes for our patients.
Who are we looking for?
You, as an ideal candidate, will have the following experience, education, and knowledge:
Recent graduate with no more than 2 years of experience
University Degree in Pharmacy / Medicine or other relevant Pharmaceutical or Biological Disciplines.
MD preferred
You, as an ideal candidate, will have the following skills:
Fluence in French
Basic knowledge of English (written & spoken) with clear commitment on improving your language skills
Eager to learn, self-managed & directed, bold, and being able to prioritize
The ability to work with cross-functional teams is a must
Ability to understand and leverage digital means and tools
Ability to deeply listen, question & understand, and communicate smoothly
