Shift: Fri – Sun [1st Shift, 5:00am – 5:30pm] 15% shift Differential
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Mechanical Technician to support assembly, maintenance, and repair operations using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical assembly, installation, and repair tasks using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment
Read and follow detailed work instructions and production guidelines
Inspect components and completed work to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment
Safely operate equipment while following all workplace safety procedures
Perform light computer work, including data entry, reporting, and documentation of completed tasks
Work on ladders up to 6 feet as required
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience using hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds regularly
Comfortable working on ladders up to 6 feet
Basic computer skills (data entry, simple reporting)
Ability to follow work instructions and work independently or on a team
Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Work Environment:
Combination of shop/industrial and field work environments
Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed
