This role exists to lead and support a skilled team in repairing and maintaining products within our Service Centre and customer operations, ensuring quality and reliability at every stage.
Working in a state-of-the-art facility, you will oversee the rebuild process for Weir products, driving efficiency, safety, and excellence. Key responsibilities include supervising the rebuild team, planning and estimating jobs, and delivering outcomes that meet both customer expectations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Maintain and repair products in line with site procedures, ensuring quality and reliability.
Prepare accurate quotations for both site and workshop activities.
Respond to urgent customer requirements promptly and professionally.
Recommend improvements to products, services, and internal processes for continuous enhancement.
Provide technical and operational support to area managers and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
Ensure compliance with customer regulations and company standards at all times.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Trade-qualified Mechanical Tradesperson with a recognised certificate or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role, providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members.
Strong communication skills, able to read, write, and present information clearly in team and customer settings.
Numerical and problem-solving ability, including basic maths and interpreting technical instructions.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Valid licences and certifications, including driver’s licence; forklift, crane, and dogging tickets; and relevant site inductions.
Commitment to safety and teamwork, with the physical capability to handle workshop tasks and contribute to a positive, organised work environment.
