Mechanical Systems Design Engineer (Flight Deck)

Boeing is looking for Mechanical Systems Design Engineer (Flight Deck) for Poland Engineering Technology Center.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. 

  • Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. 

  • Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. 

  • Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. 

  • Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation. Trains others. 

  • Makes customers and their needs a primary focus of one's actions

  • Works under general direction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences).

  • 4+ years engineering work experience.

  • Knowledge of technologies and concepts for design and integration of mechanical systems with digital control, monitoring and indication.

  • Knowledge of aerospace, hydraulics, and mechanical fundamental engineering principles.

  • Experience in designing, simulation, testing, analysis, architecture, and integration.

  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in English language.

  • Able to work collaboratively with multi-functional team and work flexible hours to meet the business needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Platform systems experience in the design and/or analysis of flight deck, hydraulics, environmental control system, mechanisms, support equipment.

  • Understands functional requirements related to developing mechanical systems.
