Engineering Intern - NTA

Interns are requested to assist the Nu-Torque Engineering Team in completing assignments related to Assembly and Test of Actuators, as well as supporting Qualification Testing for actuation development programs.

Pay Rate: $20 - $22

Location: East Farmingdale, NY

Your Challenge:

  • Test Procedure and Test Report Generation
  • Qualification Test support
  • Design/fabrication of fixture components/assemblies
  • Tool database organization/upgrade
  • Assembly and Test procedure creation and updates
  • Drawing creation and maintenance
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to problem solve and apply critical thinking skills
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Your Expertise:

  • US Citizen (only)
  • Computer database experience
  • Knowledge of NX Unigraphics and/or Solidworks is a plus
  • Knowledge of MS Word and Excel
  • Currently working towards/graduated from a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
