What You Will Do

You will contribute your knowledge of engineering practices and problem-solving to perform mechanical design and development activities. You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.

The PCAS organization provides ample opportunities for hands-on hardware work. PCAS engineers are exposed to a variety of lab activities including engineering builds, hardware integration, and hardware verification.​ The PCAS organization provides a strong technical learning environment with a dedicated technology pyramid comprised of engineering fellows.  PCAS engineers are provided the opportunity for direct access to these subject matter experts, fostering accelerated technical growth.​

Qualifications You Must Have

Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).

Experience with CREO

Experience with 3D modeling tools

Qualifications We Prefer

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related (STEM)

Experience with mechani­cal or electrical design, engineering, and analysis.

Experience with manufac­turing methods and pro­cesses, including ma­chining, casting, forging, welding, and bonding.

Experience with mechani­cal drawing practices, dimensioning, and tolerancing.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
