Role Summary
The Mechanical Drafter will be responsible for preparing technical drawings for machining and assembly using SolidWorks (3D) and DraftSight/AutoCAD (2D), as well as creating technical documentation and supporting the manufacturing of industrial valves. This role will work closely with the engineering and production teams.
Responsibilities
Prepare technical drawings (machining and assembly) ensuring accuracy and compliance with consolidated projects.
Create technical documents, including data sheets, manuals, general arrangement drawings, and calculation reports.
Perform code registration in the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics GP).
Develop mechanical fixtures to support valve manufacturing.
Ensure project compliance with technical specifications, internal standards, and safety requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Completed Technical Degree in Drafting or Design (or similar); or currently enrolled in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, Control and Automation, Electrical).
Minimum experience: 6 months as a drafter (any engineering software).
Advanced knowledge:SolidWorks (mandatory), AutoCAD or DraftSight (or similar 2D software).
Basic English (intermediate preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
High school diploma completed.
Availability for 100% on-site work in São Caetano do Sul, SP.
Preferences:
Experience with mechanical projects.
Familiarity with technical standards and best drafting practices.
