Salary: $22.06/hr. - $27.90/hr.

Job Description:

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components, parts, or products according to established specifications, procedures, and quality standards. This role supports production operations by ensuring accurate assembly, maintaining a clean work environment, and following all safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, diagrams, or assembly instructions.

  • Assemble components or products using hand tools, power tools, or machinery.

  • Inspect parts and finished assemblies for accuracy, quality, and proper fit.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting on assembly issues and escalate when necessary.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety instructions, and quality requirements.

  • Maintain production pace to meet daily or weekly output targets.

  • Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S or housekeeping standards.

  • Package, label, and prepare finished products for shipment or next production stage.

  • Report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors.

  • Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or related production environment is an asset.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools.

  • Ability to read and understand work instructions or technical documents.

  • Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced manufacturing or production setting.

  • Standing, bending, or repetitive motions for extended periods.

  • Use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection as required.
