This is a 1st shift position with the following hours: Tuesday - Thursday, 7:00am - 3:00pm

What You Will Do

  • Lead a team of assemblers and technicians.
  • Check work, products and paperwork for correctness and adherence to guidelines.
  • Provide mentorship and training to other operators.
  • Set up, assemble parts, and testing of parts.
  • Demonstrate proper use of simple hand and machine tools.
  • Learn to accurately read and follow procedures, routing and other work instructions.
  • Responsible for quality product standards with no defects.
  • Build parts that meet customer deadlines and expectations.
  • Participate in cost reduction plans, audits, and continuous improvement plans/events.
  • Acquire applicable skill/knowledge/certifications as required.
  • Maintain materials, equipment, and work area in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
  • Report to supervisor on work progress and updates including conditions surrounding failures to meet quality standards.
  • Follows blueprints, guidelines, and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
  • Documents acceptance or failure results.
  • Meets internal and external customer deadlines as determined by team.
  • Follows plans for production schedules and quality requirements.
  • Proficiently uses computer tools such as SAP and accurately follows work instructions.
  • Demonstrates initiative to keep processes moving and on schedule.
  • Interfaces with other functional groups to update, inform, acknowledge or resolve problems related to business issues.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with electronic products and components.
  • Experience with SAP and Microsoft office.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Familiarity with computers, test equipment, label printers, Excel, Teams and Outlook.
  • High-level communication and leadership skills.
