The San Marcos, TX facility is looking to fill a Mechanical Assembler III Role.  You will plan and perform a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly, tests, fabrications, and inspection operations on various products in standard and non-standard environments to maintain flow of work.

We offer a shift differential of $2.00hr per hours worked on 2nd shift.

What You Will Do 

  • Training hours: 7am-3:30pm for up to 90 days.
  • Working Hours (after the completion of training): 2nd shift hours (3pm-11:30am) Monday -Friday
  • Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
  • Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
  • Precision Assembly: Utilize hand tools such as drills, torque wrenches, rivet guns, grinders, orbital sanders, and pull motors, for daily assembly tasks.
  • Measurement & Inspection: Employ measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and standard rulers, to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Blueprints & Instructions: Adherence and understanding of blueprints and operation sheets for standard work instructions in assembling products.
  • Equipment Adjustment: Adjust equipment based on test results and a thorough understanding of processes and machinery.
  • Testing & Recording: Conduct tests for oxygen purity and moisture content at various stages of the process, recording gauge readings and test results.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to PPE and cleanroom standards to prevent foreign objects and debris from contaminating products.
  • Quality & Safety Standards: Perform all tasks in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work area.
  • Must be willing and able to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a standing position for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically, a High School diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing/and or Assembly experience is required
  • 4 or more years of Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams and/or engineering drawings to assemble equipment. 
  • 4 or more years of Experience with general hand and/or power tools

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • 2 years minimum of relevant machine operation experience highly preferred 
  • Maintenance or automated welding experience  preferred.
  • Familiarity with resistance welding
