Mechanic Trainee (2nd Shift)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Assist with troubleshooting, inspecting, and maintaining mechanical equipment to support safe and reliable operations.
• Perform basic repairs and component replacements under the guidance of experienced mechanics.
• Support routine preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime.
• Learn to safely use tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments required for mechanical work.
• Participate in shift handoffs, safety checks, and housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work area.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
