Job Description
What you will do
The Product/Contract Engineer is responsible for mechanical and electrical engineering analysis, detailed design and development of special requirements, as well as selection of air- and water-cooled chillers components and systems, including providing support to the production, laboratory, service, applications, and marketing teams.
How you will do it
- Investigates and analyses product design proposals and able to conceptualize and implement design ideas into the product.
- Proficient at preparing, checking, and coordinating the release of documentation to support designs.
- Responsible for technical direction to application engineers, designers, factory operations, product marketing, and product technical service.
- Proficient at selecting the most suitable electrical and mechanical components.
- Uses standard and sophisticated technical and mathematical principles, theories, concepts, techniques, processes, and standard methodologies in field.
- Responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials.
- Responsible for engineering drawings including electrical schematics, bill of materials.
- Experience with mechanical systems and material resource planning (MRP) software also a plus.
- Adheres to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards. Implementing prevention risks tools such as DFMEA.
- Creates specifications, requirements, and criteria for concepts, performance, and production.
- Designs and develops devices in accordance with the various phases of a program schedule.
- Develops, maintains, and releases engineering drawings, system designs, or engineering documentation.
- Provides manufacturing support ensuring products are built according to customer requirements and product specifications.
- Abide by the company's ethics policy, company system, policy and process, and comply with the quality requirements related to the position.
- Complete the task temporarily assigned by the superior.
What we look for
- Education: BE, BTech or above in mechanical/Electrical engineer and other related majors.
- Work experience: more than 4 years of experience in the Chiller Team/ HVAC Team
- SAP operational knowledge.
